The design and direction of an outdoor exhibition about Lower Manhattan - a 'museum without walls' - in which the architectural and planning elements were made accessible and understandable to the viewer walking throughout the area. The exhibition was advertised in posters hung along side subway posters, the catalog, in newspaper style, was available from local Lower Manhattan news stands, and a series of large banners isolated particular situations. The exhibition featured a 'parade of buildings', where architects of buildings located in Lower Manhattan, and artists designed and fabricated costumes of the buildings that were worn in a parade from City Hall to the plaza of the Chase Manhattan Building that initiated the exhibition.
